7.1 Providence and the Problem of Evil

As we saw last week, talking about creation is a way of making a particular claim about who God is. God is interested in creation and faithful to it. That faithfulness is manifested in God's ever-presence with creation, sustaining it and redeeming it. In the technical language of Christian theology, this sustaining relationship is known as providence.
